​The husband, an unsuccessful mystery writer, has to stay married to his wife, because either her death or a divorce will leave him penniless.

​The wife is discovering that dumping her husband wouldn't be any worse than selling off a deficit-ridden asset. Ultimately, the husband realizes a perfect crime, but not quite with the results he'd expected...
