Have you ever wondered what the inside of your favourite building looks like? Doors Open St. Catharines is your chance to explore some of the city’s most unique, historical and interesting buildings.

 

The following buildings from across the city will be open to the public for tours on August 20th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.:

  • Morningstar Mill
  • The Brown Homestead
  • St. Catharines Museum and the Welland Canals Centre
  • Meridian Centre and the Sports Hall of Fame
  • Marilyn I Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts
  • FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre
  • Niagara Artist Centre
  • Suitcase in Point
  • Lake Street Armoury
  • St. Thomas Church
  • Knox Church
  • St. George's Church
  • Salem Chapel - BME Church
  • Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church
  • St. Ignatius Church

Doors Open St. Catharines Walking Tours

Doors Open St. Catharines will also include walking tours of downtown hosted by members of the City of St Catharines Heritage Advisory Committee. You’ll have a chance to learn more about the history of the downtown and discover some of our city’s hidden architectural gems. If you’re interested in joining a walking tour, please call the St. Catharines Museum and Welland Canals Centre at 905-984-8880 to reserve your spot.
