Duplicity and hilarity are at the cross-section of the latest production being staged at Thorold’s Trinity United Church by the Thorold Community Theatre troupe.

The all-volunteer cast and production team have been busy preparing for the upcoming run of KEY FOR TWO, a farce written by John Chapman and Dave Freeman that has been described as a play that “explodes into the happiest of frolics.” Set in Brighton, England, KEY FOR TWO focuses on the life of a divorcee named Harriet, who is contentedly living her life before the complications of her covert duplicity brings it all crashing down in hilarious fashion.

Directed by Jeff McKinnon and co-produced by Marilyn Colbert and Liz Wickson, KEY FOR TWO continues Thorold Community Theatre’s long-standing tradition of staging comedy productions with talented casts of volunteers. Starring Lisa Cook in the role of Harriet, the stage production also features Richard Andrews (Gordon), Lisa Stevenson (Anne), Daniel Willis (Alec), David Redfearn (Richard), Gerri McManamy (Mildred) and Janice Kawerau (Madga). On stage April 13 through 28, the production is now on sale with all tickets just $15.00.

Thorold Community Theatre is a not-for-profit theatre in operation since 1986.

ALL Tickets are $15.00 and are available in advance at off-site box offices, purchase on line at thoroldtheatre.ca., or by pre ordering your tickets through the theatre at 905 682 8779. If there are any tickets remaining, they will be sold at the door but only after all pre orders and online purchasers have been seated.
