Formed in 1996, Danko Jones played consistently for two years in and around the northeastern United States and Canada. In 1998 the trio released a self-titled six song EP on Sonic Unyon Records, followed by the self-produced "My Love is Bold" EP in 1999. The band achieved national exposure with the single "Bounce" and was nominated for the 2000 Juno for Best Alternative Album. Danko Jones just wrapped up a UK tour in support of their 8th album "Wild Cat".
